IS IT TRULY AN INDEPENDENT NATION? A MATTER OF CONCERN
Since the day our nation got her independence back in 1960, we've come a long way.
Sixty years is not a joke, but are we truly an independent nation? Are we are really familiar with the world independent? This, of course, is the state of having sufficient means for a comfortable livelihood. And on a national scale means when a country is free from external control and can provide for itself.
A nation where it has everything running out of control. Here is a nation where the person at the apex position considers the nation's future (youths) has lazy beings, who would rather waste away than be productive. Only for him to return under a year hoping they would support his second term ambition.
A nation where rights are deemed, debased, and demoralized. A nation where rights of herds of cattle are placed ahead of the citizens. A nation where corruption plays the pipe and dictates the tune.
A state where prostitution, fraud, and exploitation are the order of the day. A nation where justice is harsh and discordant while unpatriotic servants celebrate poverty; suffering and smiling.
A nation where hardship, intolerance, sadness, and poverty live within the heart of children; where they accept fate and struggle to be an elite.
A country where foreign investors take advantage of the abysmal condition of government and enrich their pockets; selfishly enriching and enhancing the economy of their home countries. Aren't they just talented? A nation that is endowed with vast natural wealth. And seemingly clueless on the process to turn this into a better life for its citizens. A nation severely lacking in development operations.
A nation whose independence occurred per-chance and not earned. Independence on a platter that is only theoretically and far from being practiced.
Less I forget, what is currently happening all over the globe, is a favor to some of its political leaders of that unmentioned nation. Why? Since the inception of the pandemic,c other nations had been providing what would make life worth living for their citizenry.
But to the surprise, in that unmentioned nation, its citizens had been a great risk on how to feed oneself over three months. all academics sectors have been closed down which the political leaders of that nation turn deaf faculty to how it will be reopened.
The Russian President, Vladimir Putin once said, "African will never be independent. Africans believe in Europeans, Americans, Chinese more than themselves. They don't believe in themselves at all. African technocrats/engineers aren't given the platform to practice what they studied instead they hire Americans to construct roads for themselves".
He went further to say " A white men will commit a crime in Africa and no action will be taken because, the African authorities view us as Demigods, far from the truth; A black man can be abducted in Europe, get harassed and even killed but no African authority will even question."
This is completely true because Africans present themselves as weak people with no hope especially when dealing with Europeans and Africans.
This situation is getting out of hands as each day passes in that unmentioned nation.
